An available hybrid model pairs the V6 with an electric motor, and the Highlander comes standard with front-wheel drive, with an available all-wheel drive. Although a SpongeBob-themed paintjob won't be available to everyone, for 2014, the new model does present an evolved exterior, including a new wide-mouthed grille, longer wraparound headlights, more pronounced fender creases, and a stretched rear glass window, for a more open feel and better visibility.
