Community Liaison: Stu Sherfey
Stu Sherfey is a seasoned automotive professional with over 14 years of experience in the industry, including leadership roles as Assistant Sales Manager, Fleet Director, and Internet Manager. He has worked across multiple dealerships in Southern California, with the majority of his career spent at Moss Bros. Auto Group. Known to many as “Stingray Stu,” he gained recognition as a Corvette Specialist and became a trusted face of the Moss Bros. brand, earning the phrase, “If you don’t know what to do, ask for Stu.” Stu currently serves as Community Liaison for Moss Bros. Auto Group, where he acts as the primary point of contact for organizations seeking partnerships, sponsorships, or local collaboration. In this role, he helps bridge the dealership group with the communities they serve, furthering Moss Bros.’ commitment to meaningful, local engagement. Prior to his automotive career, Stu worked as a commercial bell diver in the Gulf of Mexico and held roles in logistics and commercial photography, including operating a professional photo studio. He also spent over a decade as a K–12 educator after earning his teaching credential from Cal State San Bernardino. Stu has a strong background in community involvement. He was the first elected Student Provost at Riverside Community College’s Norco Campus, where he led student government initiatives and partnered with the Rotary Club on civic and campus events. He has been recognized with awards in both journalism and art and continues to prioritize service to others through his work and outreach efforts.
