2014 marks the ten-year
anniversary of the Scion brand, and also will be the year that Scion becomes
the first non-luxury car brand to feature a touchscreen audio system that comes
standard across the entire lineup. The 6.1 inch screen will offer terrestrial
and satellite radio capability with a CD and MP3 player, hands-free phone
capability, Bluetooth wireless audio streaming, and an auxiliary audio and USB
port with iPod connectivity. Making the touchscreen audio system across all
models should appeal to Scion's youthful market. Additionally, Scion is making
a Custom Premium audio system available on all new models. The upgraded system
boasts GPS navigation, social media application integration,
smartphone-compatible access to 30,000 free audio stations, including Scion's
signature station, which features a lineup of 17 music channels.
