For 2013, Dodge took a good truck and gave it a bad
attitude. The Black Express package for the Ram 1500 adds some
interesting details to give it customizable style and excellent performance.
The Ram 1500 Express has been one of Dodge's most popular models, and its
looks, combined with HEMI horsepower, towing, and payload, appeal to a variety
of younger and first time truck buyers. The 1500 Express comes standard with
the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine with Fuel Saver technology. The Express package
features locking tailgate, cargo lamp, rear-bumper step pad, 6 by 9 inch
sideview mirrors, and rear wheel-well liners. Air conditioning, 12-volt
auxiliary power outlet, tilt steering wheel, and a 6 speaker media center with
MP3 audio jack and USB input are also included.
The Black Express package gives the 1500 an
unmistakable all-black exterior. All body side badges and logos have been
removed for a sleek, tuxedo-like look, and even the 20 inch wheels are black
aluminum. This trim package also includes a black front fascia with fog lamps,
a black grille surrounded by black hex-link inserts, black rear bumper, and
black Ram logos on the grille and tailgate. Also featured are halogen projector
headlamps with black bezels, 15 amber LEDs for parking and turning lamps, and
three amber LEDs for the side marker lighting. The Black Express trim package
is available in two and four wheel drive models and choice of regular, quad,
and crew cab body styles. Complete with the aggressive, angular cowl hood, this
package offers great performance and even better looks. Whether you're in
Riverside, San Bernardino, Moreno Valley, Corona, Norco, Yucaipa, Redlands,
Banning, Beaumont, Perris, Loma Linda, Fontana, Ontario, Murrieta, or Temecula,
