With dealers looking to make room for 2014 models, soon, now could be the right time to head into your Riverside Toyota dealer and take a look at the 2013 Toyota Avalon Hybrid, which was completely re-designed for this year. The Avalon Hybrid provides comfortable seating for five, and a striking new look. The new profile is sleeker than the previous generation, and new LED tail lights grace the rear of the vehicle. A stiffer body and re-tuned suspension offer a more confident driving experience. The full-sized sedan is also wider, lower and over two inches shorter than before, and boasts a larger trunk, a better range of seat adjustments, and a more efficient sunroof. The new Avalon Hybrid offers an overall package that delivers excellent fuel economy, an exciting new look, and an impressive interior.

The Avalon Hybrid includes a 2.5 liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that is paired with an electric motor, generating 200 horsepower. It is estimated the sedan gets about 40 combined mpg, and its hybrid status makes it almost the only non-luxury sedan with a hybrid option. The 17 gallon fuel tank means that the Avalon Hybrid can cover an estimated 600 miles between fill-ups.

Three trim levels are available: XLE Premium, XLE Touring, and Limited. The XLE Premium comes standard with 17 inch alloy wheels, heated mirrors, automatic headlights, dual-zone automatic climate control, full power accessories, auto-dimming rearview mirror, cruise control, leather upholstery, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, eight-way power driver seat, four-way power front passenger seat and heated front seats.

The XLE Premium level also features keyless entry and ignition, Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity, rearview camera, 6 inch touchscreen display, and eight speaker audio system with CD player, auxiliary audio jack, and USB/iPod connection. With such an array of standard features and the optional extras available on the other trim levels, the redesigned 2013 Avalon Hybrid might just be the sedan you're looking for.
