The APEAL study, or Automotive Performance,
Execution and Layout study, is conducted each year in the U.S. by J.D. Power,
and is intended to measure how gratifying a new vehicle is to own during the
first 90 days of purchase. The study is based on responses from more than
83,000 new car purchasers who own 2013 models.
