The skills and aptitudes required for success in the modern workplace continue to evolve. Apprenticeships allow people new to an industry to work alongside experienced veterans to leverage institutional knowledge with classroom instruction to gain confidence, experience, and skills. Automotive trades people are needed in California with opportunities for Auto Body Repair, Automotive Mechanic, Automotive Painter and Commercial Vehicle Repair.
The LAUNCH Apprenticeship Network was originally formed in 2018 by the Inland Empire Desert Region College Consortium. By leveraging workforce and education systems of the region’s community colleges, K-12 districts and Workforce Development Boards, LAUNCH is an effective intermediary and education provider for businesses adopting the apprenticeship models. In addition, LAUNCH provides regional resources for developing pathways into apprenticeship both in traditional sectors and new innovative programs.
Moss Bros. Auto Group is excited to work with the LAUNCH program to develop talent pipelines for the automotive industry and give local students the opportunity to excel in this exciting career path.
